Product Description
The SOUL Performance Exhaust System is a non-valved rear exhaust system developed for the 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3, replacing the restrictive factory rear muffler and eliminating Porsche's secondary valved exhaust path.
Rather than waiting for the factory valve programming to fully reveal the GT3's sound at higher engine speeds, the SOUL Performance Exhaust provides its full exhaust character throughout the entire rev range.
Exhaust flows from the factory headers through SOUL's specially designed cast transition cones, into 3-inch stainless-steel tubing, through a bespoke X-pipe, and finally exits through your choice of 4-inch exhaust tips.
Integrated Helmholtz resonators specifically target the GT3's approximately 3,400–4,000 RPM resonance range, helping control unwanted cabin drone while retaining the aggressive character of the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six.
SOUL also includes dedicated Valve Delete Modules, allowing the electronically controlled factory rear exhaust valves to be removed without generating valve-related check engine lights. SOUL Performance Products

NON-VALVED PERFORMANCE DESIGN:
The factory 992.2 GT3 uses electronically controlled exhaust valves to vary sound and exhaust routing.
Even with the factory exhaust placed into its more aggressive operating mode, Porsche's programming limits how much of the 4.0-liter engine's sound reaches the driver until higher in the rev range.
SOUL removes that secondary valved flow path entirely.
The Performance Exhaust therefore provides:
Consistent exhaust character throughout the RPM range
No factory valve intervention
More sound during partial-throttle driving
Stronger low- and mid-RPM engine character
Immediate acoustic response to throttle input
Maximum use of the GT3's naturally aspirated sound without replacing the factory headers
There is no quiet mode with this exhaust.
CAST TRANSITION CONES:
The factory GT3 header connection presents a relatively large opening that must transition into the rear exhaust tubing.
Rather than creating this transition from multiple welded sections or an abrupt reducer, SOUL developed dedicated cast transition cones.
The geometry was designed to create the least aggressive practical radius from the header flange into the rear exhaust.
The mating and clamping surfaces are then precision machined to provide an accurate seal.
Benefits include:
Smoother exhaust-flow transition
Reduced number of welded joints
Increased durability
Improved fitment consistency
Cleaner transition into the 3-inch exhaust tubing
3-INCH X-PIPE EXHAUST:
After leaving the cast transitions, exhaust flows through 3-inch stainless-steel tubing into SOUL's bespoke X-pipe.
The X-pipe blends exhaust pulses from the opposing cylinder banks and contributes to the system's smoother, more cohesive flat-six sound.
The configuration is designed to produce a deeper, throatier character at lower RPM that builds into a considerably more aggressive naturally aspirated wail as engine speed increases. SOUL Performance Products
HELMHOLTZ ANTI-DRONE RESONATORS:
Early SOUL development identified noticeable resonance in approximately the:
3,400–4,000 RPM range
SOUL incorporated specially tuned Helmholtz resonators to target those frequencies.
Instead of simply adding a restrictive muffler to reduce sound everywhere, Helmholtz resonators target specific undesirable frequencies while allowing the primary exhaust flow to remain relatively unrestricted.
This helps provide:
Reduced steady-state resonance
More comfortable cruising
Less undesirable cabin drone
Retention of aggressive high-RPM sound
VALVE DELETE MODULES:
The Performance Exhaust physically removes the original Porsche rear exhaust valves.
Disconnecting those electronically monitored valves without addressing them can create vehicle faults.
SOUL therefore includes dedicated Valve Delete Modules.
The modules allow the factory valve hardware to be removed while preventing valve-removal-related check engine lights.
The exhaust itself remains permanently non-valved.
SOUND CHARACTER:
Expect:
Throatier low-RPM sound
Greater engine presence during normal driving
More aggressive midrange character
Much stronger flat-six sound under acceleration
Increased high-RPM intensity
Full exhaust sound without waiting for the factory valves to open
A naturally aspirated flat-six wail approaching redline
Controlled cabin resonance through the Helmholtz system
SOUL compares the overall volume to previous-generation 997 / 991 GT3 Center Muffler Bypass configurations rather than an extreme straight-pipe system. SOUL Performance Products
WITH FACTORY HEADERS:
The Performance Exhaust is specifically designed to work with the original Porsche header and catalyst assemblies.
With the factory headers retained:
Factory catalytic converters remain installed
Original emissions hardware remains upstream
The modification is limited to the rear exhaust
Exhaust sound increases substantially
Factory rear-valve programming is eliminated
Helmholtz resonators help maintain reasonable cabin presence
SOUL specifically states that retaining the factory headers means the Performance Exhaust itself does not alter the original upstream emissions equipment. SOUL Performance Products
WITH SOUL STREET HEADERS:
Pairing the Performance Exhaust with SOUL Street Headers creates a freer-flowing catted configuration.
This combination provides:
High-flow performance catalysts
Improved upstream exhaust flow
Non-valved 3-inch rear exhaust
Increased engine character
Greater high-RPM sound
Increased overall performance potential
WITH SOUL COMPETITION HEADERS:
Pairing the Performance Exhaust with SOUL Competition Headers creates a substantially more aggressive configuration.
Expect:
Catless header architecture
Maximum upstream exhaust flow
Non-valved 3-inch rear exhaust
Significantly increased exhaust volume
Much stronger high-RPM character
Competition-oriented sound and flow
Appropriate emissions and calibration requirements should be considered when replacing factory catalysts.

Customers are responsible for determining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations for their complete vehicle configuration.
Product Description
The SOUL Valved Exhaust System is designed for the 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3, delivering a substantial improvement in sound while retaining Porsche's factory electronic exhaust-valve operation.
SOUL replaces the factory rear muffler with a purpose-built system featuring smooth-radius cast transition cones, a bespoke X-chamber muffler for the valves-closed path, and a large-diameter 3-inch X-pipe for the valves-open path.
With the valves closed, exhaust is routed through a straight-through perforated muffler design that increases tone and presence without making the GT3 excessively loud during normal driving. As the valves progressively open, exhaust gains increasing access to the 3-inch X-pipe path for a smoother, higher-pitched, more aggressive flat-six sound.
The result is an OEM+ valved exhaust experience: noticeably more character during everyday driving, comfortable cabin presence, and a significantly stronger naturally aspirated wail as the 4.0-liter flat-six approaches the upper end of the rev range.

FACTORY ELECTRONIC VALVE INTEGRATION:
The 992.2 GT3 uses electronically actuated exhaust valves controlled by Porsche's factory ECU programming.
SOUL retains this functionality rather than replacing the valves with simulators or converting the exhaust to a permanently open configuration.
Under factory programming, the valves remain closed through much of the lower RPM range and begin progressively opening around approximately:
4,000 RPM
They reach their fully open position at approximately:
5,000 RPM
Even with Porsche Sport Exhaust activated, the factory ECU continues to control the valves according to its programmed strategy rather than simply leaving them permanently open.
The SOUL system works with this factory behavior while making both the valves-closed and valves-open operating states more engaging.
VALVES CLOSED:
With the valves closed, exhaust is directed through SOUL's bespoke muffled secondary flow path.
This path uses:
Straight-through perforated tubing
Surrounding acoustic packing
An internal X-pipe
The design allows exhaust gases to continue flowing efficiently while reducing overall sound volume.
Compared with the factory system, the valves-closed character is:
More pronounced
Smoother
More refined
More mechanically engaging
Less hollow in character
The increase in volume is intentionally moderate, making the system well suited to street use and longer-distance driving.
VALVES OPEN:
As the electronic exhaust valves open, exhaust gains access to the system's 3-inch primary flow path and external X-pipe.
This provides:
Increased exhaust flow
Greater overall volume
Stronger high-RPM character
More aggressive naturally aspirated sound
Smoother blending between the two cylinder banks
A higher-pitched GT-style exhaust note
SOUL intentionally designed the primary path aggressively because the secondary muffled path continues contributing to exhaust flow and acoustic control even when the valves are open.
This allows the system to produce considerably more character without requiring additional resonators or mufflers in the primary path.
DUAL X-PIPE ARCHITECTURE:
A key feature of the Valved Exhaust is the use of exhaust-bank blending in both operating paths.
With the valves open, the primary 3-inch X-pipe blends the left and right cylinder banks.
With the valves closed, an internal X-pipe within the muffler performs the same basic function for the secondary path.
This helps produce a smoother and more cohesive exhaust tone instead of allowing the two banks to sound completely isolated from one another.
CAST TRANSITION CONES:
The factory GT3 header outlet presents a large connection that must transition into the rear exhaust system.
SOUL developed dedicated cast transition cones to make this change in cross-section as smoothly as possible.
The cones use a gradual radius to promote efficient exhaust flow and are subsequently precision-machined at the mating and clamping surfaces for proper sealing.
Compared with constructing the transition from multiple welded pieces, the cast solution provides:
Smoother internal geometry
Fewer welded joints
Greater consistency
Improved durability
Precise sealing surfaces
BESPOKE X-CHAMBER MUFFLER:
When the valves close, gases are routed through SOUL's dedicated muffler.
Instead of using a highly restrictive chambered design, SOUL uses straight-through perforated tubing surrounded by acoustic packing.
This allows exhaust energy to dissipate into the muffler packing while maintaining a relatively direct flow path.
The muffler also contains its own internal X-pipe, which blends both cylinder banks and contributes to the smoother exhaust character.
DRONE CONTROL:
The Valved Exhaust was specifically developed to maintain comfortable cabin acoustics.
The secondary muffled exhaust path helps control unwanted frequencies in the sub-3,000 RPM range, where resonance can become particularly noticeable during normal street driving.
Because some exhaust continues flowing through this secondary path even with the valves open, it also helps smooth the tone during more aggressive driving.
The result is a more present exhaust without the persistent booming or harshness common to simpler muffler-delete systems.
SOUND CHARACTER:
SOUL characterizes the system as a gentleman's OEM+ exhaust.
Expect:
More exhaust presence during casual driving
Increased mechanical flat-six tone
Higher-pitched exhaust character
Smoother bank-to-bank sound
Refined valves-closed volume
Comfortable cabin presence
Progressive increase in aggression as the factory valves open
Stronger naturally aspirated wail during high-RPM operation
Moderate rather than extreme wide-open-throttle volume
This is designed for customers who want the GT3 to sound substantially more engaging without turning the car into a permanently loud track-style exhaust.
FACTORY VALVE PROGRAMMING:
Under factory control, the exhaust valves do not simply remain open whenever PSE is selected.
The factory strategy keeps the valves closed through much of the lower RPM range before progressively opening them between approximately 4,000 and 5,000 RPM.
Customers seeking 100% valve-open operation regardless of RPM or throttle condition will require an appropriate ECU calibration or compatible aftermarket valve controller.
The exhaust itself does not override Porsche's factory valve strategy.
WITH FACTORY HEADERS:
The SOUL Valved Exhaust can be installed while retaining the original Porsche headers and emissions equipment.
This configuration provides:
Greater exhaust presence
Retention of the factory catalysts
Retention of factory electronic valve control
Improved valves-closed sound
More aggressive valves-open sound
A straightforward rear-exhaust-only upgrade
This is the most conservative configuration for owners primarily interested in improving sound.
WITH SOUL STREET HEADERS:
Pairing the Valved Exhaust with SOUL Street Headers further reduces upstream exhaust restriction while retaining a catted configuration.
This combination provides:
High-flow catalytic converters
Improved header geometry
Greater flat-six sound
Increased exhaust-flow potential
Full electronic rear-valve functionality
Greater overall performance potential
WITH SOUL COMPETITION HEADERS:
Pairing the Valved Exhaust with SOUL Competition Headers creates a substantially more aggressive configuration.
This combination provides:
Catless header architecture
Maximum upstream exhaust flow
Increased naturally aspirated sound
Full 3-inch valves-open rear exhaust path
Retained electronic exhaust-valve functionality
Much stronger high-RPM character
Applicable emissions and ECU requirements should be considered when removing factory emissions components.
VALVED EXHAUST VS. PERFORMANCE EXHAUST:

The Valved Exhaust is the better choice for customers who want more sound while retaining Porsche's factory-controlled exhaust-volume functionality.
EXHAUST TIP OPTIONS:
The Valved Exhaust accepts SOUL's interchangeable 4-inch single-wall exhaust tips.
Two styles are available:
4" Slash Cut Single Wall
An angled outlet for a more aggressive appearance.
4" Straight Cut Single Wall
A traditional straight-cut circular outlet.

This creates six total combinations.
EMISSIONS NOTE:
When installed with the original Porsche headers and catalytic converters, the SOUL Valved Exhaust replaces the rear muffler assembly only and does not itself remove the factory upstream catalytic converters.
Installation of separate aftermarket headers or catalyst components may alter emissions compliance.
Customers are responsible for determining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations for their complete vehicle configuration.
Product Description
The SOUL Valved Exhaust Package is a complete header-back exhaust system for the 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3, combining long-tube performance headers with SOUL's electronically controlled Valved Exhaust System.
Rather than simply replacing the rear muffler, this package addresses the entire exhaust path from the cylinder heads rearward. SOUL removes the restrictive factory header assemblies, catalyst and particulate-filter hardware, and enormous factory rear-muffler connection, replacing them with long-tube runners, precision CNC-machined merge collectors, interchangeable catted or catless sections, V-band connections, and a purpose-built valved rear exhaust.
With the valves open, exhaust flows through a large-diameter 3-inch X-pipe for maximum flow and a sharper, higher-pitched flat-six sound. With the valves closed, gases are routed through a secondary flow path and bespoke SOUL X-chamber muffler, substantially reducing cabin presence while maintaining a smoother and more engaging tone than the factory exhaust.
Customers can choose between a Competition / Catless configuration for maximum flow and track-oriented sound or a Catted configuration for reduced exhaust volume and a lower likelihood of emissions-related diagnostic faults.

COMPLETE HEADER-BACK EXHAUST:
The Valved Exhaust Package replaces substantially more of the exhaust system than SOUL's standalone Valved Exhaust.
The package includes:
Long-Tube Performance Headers
and
SOUL Valved Rear Exhaust System
This eliminates the restrictive factory header architecture and allows SOUL to optimize the exhaust system as one complete assembly.
The result is greater exhaust-flow capability, substantially increased flat-six character, and a more cohesive transition between the headers and rear exhaust.
LONG-TUBE HEADERS:
Replacing the factory headers is central to the package.
The original Porsche system incorporates restrictive emissions hardware and an exceptionally large rear-muffler connection, forcing compromises in exhaust-runner geometry and flow.
SOUL replaces this architecture with long-tube runners feeding precision-machined merge collectors.
The performance-oriented header design improves:
Exhaust flow
Exhaust scavenging potential
High-RPM breathing
Throttle response
Flat-six sound
Overall performance potential
CNC-MACHINED MERGE COLLECTORS:
The individual header runners converge through SOUL's precision-machined merge collectors.
The collectors are designed to combine exhaust pulses smoothly while maintaining exhaust-gas velocity.
On the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter GT3 engine, collector geometry is especially important because exhaust scavenging and pulse timing directly influence response and high-RPM breathing.
SOUL manufactures the billet 304L stainless components using 5-axis CNC machining for accurate internal geometry and strength.
V-BAND CONNECTIONS:
The factory Porsche system uses an extremely large approximately 7 5/8-inch connection point at the rear muffler.
SOUL's header design eliminates this architecture and replaces the older-style Porsche connection arrangement with more efficient V-band connections.
Benefits include:
Improved component alignment
Cleaner exhaust transitions
Easier servicing
Secure sealing
Elimination of costly factory clamp and donut-gasket hardware
VALVES OPEN:
With the electronic exhaust valves open, gases flow through:
3-inch piping
and a dedicated:
X-pipe
The X-pipe merges exhaust pulses from both cylinder banks, helping create a smoother and more cohesive exhaust note.
Expect:
Maximum rear-exhaust flow
Significantly greater exhaust volume
Sharper throttle-related sound
Higher-pitched flat-six character
Stronger mechanical presence
Aggressive high-RPM wail
Considerably greater excitement at wide-open throttle
VALVES CLOSED:
With the valves closed, exhaust is redirected through a secondary flow path and SOUL's bespoke muffler.
The muffler uses straight-through perforated tubing surrounded by acoustic packing rather than forcing gases through an aggressively restrictive chambered design.
An internal X-pipe continues blending both cylinder banks.
This configuration provides:
Reduced exhaust volume
Lower cabin presence
Smoother exhaust tone
Reduced resonance below approximately 3,000 RPM
Comfortable touring characteristics
More refined sound than a permanently open exhaust
Greater character than the factory system
FACTORY ELECTRONIC VALVE CONTROL:
The 992 GT3 uses electronically actuated exhaust valves.
These valves cannot simply be disconnected or allowed to hang freely because the actuators themselves maintain tension on the mechanical valve bodies.
SOUL's included hardware preserves proper actuator operation.
Factory programming generally operates the valves as follows:
Below approximately 4,000 RPM:
Valves closed
Approximately 4,000–5,000 RPM:
Valves progressively opening
Approximately 5,000 RPM and above:
Valves fully open
For customers who want the exhaust valves commanded completely open at wide-open throttle regardless of RPM, an appropriate ECU calibration can modify the factory valve strategy.
CATTED CONFIGURATION:
The Catted Valved Exhaust Package adds high-flow catalytic-converter sections downstream of the long-tube headers.
This configuration provides:
Long-tube performance headers
High-flow catalytic converters
3-inch valves-open rear exhaust
Factory electronic valve functionality
Reduced sound compared with the catless configuration
Lower likelihood of catalyst-related check engine lights
Greater street-oriented refinement
The catalysts are positioned after the headers using carefully routed tubing designed to maintain exhaust velocity despite the limited available space beneath the GT3.
COMPETITION / CATLESS CONFIGURATION:
The Competition configuration eliminates the catalytic converters completely.
This provides:
Maximum available header flow
Maximum exhaust volume
Maximum high-RPM character
Reduced exhaust-system weight
Maximum naturally aspirated flat-six presence
Track-oriented exhaust configuration
SOUL states that the Competition configuration weighs approximately 17 lbs less than the comparable factory exhaust system.
Because the factory catalytic converters are removed, the Competition configuration may trigger a check engine light.
SOUL recommends an appropriate custom ECU calibration to address emissions-related diagnostic faults for track use.
INTERCHANGEABLE CATTED / CATLESS SECTIONS:
An important benefit of the package is that the catalyst sections are modular.
The catted and catless sections are interchangeable, allowing the exhaust configuration to be changed later without replacing the complete header and rear-exhaust assembly.
This allows an owner to run:
Catted sections for lower volume and reduced CEL potential
or
Catless sections for maximum track-oriented sound and flow
using the same underlying exhaust architecture.
SOUND CHARACTER:
The system was developed to provide greater sound quality rather than simply maximizing volume.
Expect:
Greater presence during casual driving
Smoother low-RPM tone
Higher-pitched flat-six character
Reduced hollow character compared with the factory exhaust
Comfortable cruising below approximately 4,000 RPM
Noticeable difference between valves-open and valves-closed operation
Aggressive wide-open-throttle sound
Strong naturally aspirated wail as RPM increases
Significantly greater sound with the Competition configuration
The valved design provides substantially greater flexibility than a permanently open muffler-less exhaust.
DRONE CONTROL:
Packaging a complete high-flow exhaust underneath the GT3 while maintaining acceptable touring comfort required SOUL to incorporate a dedicated muffled secondary path.
The muffler is designed to reduce resonance in the sub-3,000 RPM range, where steady-state cruising can otherwise produce undesirable cabin boom.
Because the muffled path uses straight-through perforated tubing and an internal X-pipe, sound attenuation is achieved without introducing an unnecessarily restrictive exhaust route.
EXHAUST TIP OPTIONS:
The Valved Exhaust Package uses a modular tip plate allowing the exhaust-tip assemblies to be changed independently of the rest of the exhaust.
Two styles are available:
4" Slash Cut Single Wall
An angled outlet with a more aggressive appearance.
4" Straight Cut Single Wall
A traditional straight-cut circular outlet.
Each style is offered in:
Signature Satin
Brushed
Satin Black
This produces six tip configurations for each catalyst choice.

COMPLETE HEADER-BACK RACE SYSTEM:
The Race Exhaust replaces substantially more of the GT3 exhaust than a conventional rear-muffler system.
The package includes:
Long-Tube Performance Headers
Interchangeable Catted or Catless Sections
Full 3-Inch X-Pipe Rear Exhaust
Valve Delete Modules
4-Inch Exhaust Tips
This allows the entire exhaust path to be engineered as one complete system rather than compromising around the factory header and rear-muffler architecture.
LONG-TUBE HEADERS:
The factory 992.2 GT3 header assemblies must balance performance with emissions, production, packaging, durability, and regulatory requirements.
These compromises limit:
Primary-runner length
Runner diameter
Collector geometry
Exhaust scavenging
High-RPM flow
SOUL replaces the factory manifolds with longer, smoother-flowing runners designed around performance rather than mass-production constraints.
On the high-revving 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, header geometry has a direct influence on exhaust-pulse behavior, response, and high-RPM breathing.
CNC-MACHINED MERGE COLLECTORS:
Rather than using simple slip-on collectors, SOUL developed a bespoke billet merge collector.
The collector is designed digitally and manufactured using CNC machining to provide:
Controlled runner convergence
Optimized merge angles
Improved exhaust-gas velocity
Precise geometry
Reduced opportunity for leakage
Greater structural durability
The billet design also allows SOUL to maximize primary-runner length while eliminating multiple fabricated weld joints.
V-BAND CONNECTIONS:
The factory exhaust terminates into an exceptionally large approximately 7 5/8-inch connection at the rear muffler.
SOUL eliminates this arrangement along with the older clamp and donut-gasket interface.
The Race Exhaust instead uses V-band connections for:
Precise component alignment
Secure sealing
Cleaner exhaust transitions
Easier servicing
Simplified installation and removal
FULL 3-INCH REAR EXHAUST:
After the catalyst or Competition sections, exhaust enters a full:
3-inch flow path
SOUL avoids unnecessary reductions in pipe diameter to maintain exhaust velocity and maximize available flow.
The rear exhaust is intentionally simple and performance focused, eliminating the heavy dual-entry factory muffler and its varying internal exhaust diameters.
X-PIPE DESIGN:
After the interchangeable catalyst section, the exhaust enters SOUL's X-pipe.
The crossover is designed to maximize blending between the two cylinder banks while minimizing reductions in effective exhaust diameter.
This blending produces:
Smoother exhaust tone
Higher-pitched character
Stronger motorsport sound
Greater acoustic cohesion between both cylinder banks
Aggressive high-RPM wail
The result is significantly different from simply running two independent straight exhaust paths.
COMPETITION / CATLESS CONFIGURATION:
The Competition configuration completely eliminates the catalytic converters.
This provides:
Maximum available exhaust flow
Maximum naturally aspirated sound
Lowest system weight
Maximum high-RPM character
Most aggressive throttle-related sound
Greatest performance potential
Approximately 42.9-lb total system weight
Approximately 25.3 lbs / 11.4 kg of weight savings
Because the factory catalytic converters are removed, this configuration may generate emissions-related diagnostic faults and is intended for appropriate competition applications.
CATTED CONFIGURATION:
The catted Race Exhaust retains high-flow catalytic sections within the same modular exhaust architecture.
This provides:
High-flow performance catalysts
Reduced exhaust volume compared with the Competition configuration
Same long-tube header architecture
Same full 3-inch rear exhaust
Same X-pipe
Same Valve Delete Modules
Same exhaust-tip options
Approximately 47.6-lb system weight
Approximately 20.6 lbs / 9.3 kg of weight savings
The catted sections can be exchanged for Competition sections later without replacing the complete exhaust.
MODULAR CATALYST SECTIONS:
One of the major advantages of the Race Exhaust is its modular construction.
The catted and catless sections are interchangeable.
This allows the owner to change between:
Catted configuration
and
Competition / Catless configuration
while retaining the same headers, rear exhaust, X-pipe, and exhaust tips.
This makes the system particularly useful for vehicles that may see both different track configurations and evolving future modifications.
VALVE DELETE MODULES:
The factory GT3 electronic exhaust valves cannot simply be unplugged and removed.
Doing so creates an electronic fault and can place the vehicle into a reduced operating mode with an approximately:
6,000 RPM rev limit
SOUL includes dedicated Valve Delete Modules with the Race Exhaust.
The modules connect to the factory valve wiring and electronically simulate the expected valve operation.
This allows:
Factory exhaust valves to be removed
Factory valve actuators to be removed
No valve-related check engine light
No valve-related 6,000 RPM reduced-rev condition
The physical exhaust remains permanently non-valved.
SOUND CHARACTER:
The Race Exhaust is one of SOUL's most aggressive 992 GT3 systems.
Expect:
Substantially increased flat-six sound
Greater engine presence throughout the rev range
Sharper throttle-related response
Higher-pitched exhaust tone
Stronger mechanical character
Aggressive naturally aspirated wail
Very high exterior volume
Cup Car / RSR-inspired character
No factory exhaust-valve intervention
No quiet mode
SOUL describes the volume as being on the extreme end for a street-driven vehicle.
Customers prioritizing daily-driving refinement and adjustable sound should consider the SOUL Valved Exhaust Package instead.
PERFORMANCE:
SOUL publishes Dynojet testing performed by Hydra Motor Works for the Race Exhaust architecture.
Race Exhaust System Alone:
Approximately +23 whp peak
Approximately +19 lb-ft peak torque
Additional gains through the midrange and at maximum RPM
With a Hydra Motor Works Stage 2 ECU calibration, SOUL reports:
Approximately +60 whp peak
Approximately +26 lb-ft peak torque
Maximum gains exceeding 60 whp
Maximum torque gains exceeding 70 lb-ft at portions of the power curve
The larger tuned figures represent the combined exhaust and ECU-calibration configuration, not exhaust-only gains.
WEIGHT SAVINGS:
Comparable Factory Exhaust Components:
Approximately 68.2 lbs / 30.9 kg
SOUL Competition / Catless Race Exhaust:
Approximately 42.9 lbs / 19.5 kg
Competition Weight Savings:
Approximately 25.3 lbs / 11.4 kg
SOUL Catted Race Exhaust:
Approximately 47.6 lbs / 21.6 kg
Catted Weight Savings:
Approximately 20.6 lbs / 9.3 kg
The Competition system removes approximately 37% of the weight of the comparable factory exhaust components.

4" Slash Cut Single Wall
An angled exhaust outlet with a more aggressive appearance.
4" Straight Cut Single Wall
A conventional straight-cut circular exhaust outlet.
Each tip style is available in:
Signature Satin
Brushed
Satin Black
This creates six tip choices per catalyst configuration and twelve total sellable variants.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT:
The included Valve Delete Modules address diagnostic faults caused by removal of the factory electronic exhaust valves.
They do not eliminate emissions-related diagnostic faults caused by removal or replacement of the factory catalytic converters.
SOUL states that the product may trigger a check engine light due to removal of the factory catalytic converters.
An appropriate ECU calibration may therefore be required depending on catalyst configuration, vehicle specification, and intended use.
EMISSIONS / COMPETITION USE NOTE:
The SOUL Race Exhaust replaces factory emissions-related exhaust components.
The Competition configuration completely eliminates the catalytic converters, while the catted configuration replaces the factory catalyst assemblies with aftermarket high-flow components.
The system is not CARB certified and SOUL specifies it for closed-course competition use only.
Customers are responsible for determining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations before installation or use.
Product Description
The SOUL High Pitch Exhaust System is a complete header-back exhaust system engineered for the Porsche 992 GT3 platform to create a sharper, more exotic, motorsport-derived flat-six soundtrack that becomes increasingly intense as the engine approaches redline.
Rather than simply increasing exhaust volume, SOUL engineered the entire exhaust path around acoustic tuning. The system removes the restrictive factory catalyst assemblies, particulate-filter sections, and oversized factory rear-muffler connection, replacing them with optimized headers, reverse megaphones, dual 2.5-inch exhaust paths, and a single 3-inch final flow path.
Carefully calculated exhaust lengths and merge geometry move the sound toward a higher frequency while maintaining exhaust velocity and flow. At the rear, gases exit through a distinctive 3D-metal-printed single outlet, giving the High Pitch Exhaust a dedicated motorsport appearance rather than using conventional dual bolt-on tips.
The complete system weighs approximately 35.9 lbs, compared with approximately 68.2 lbs for the equivalent factory exhaust components, saving an impressive 32.3 lbs / 14.6 kg.

F1-INSPIRED HIGH-PITCH SOUND:
The High Pitch Exhaust differs fundamentally from a conventional muffler-delete or louder rear exhaust.
SOUL designed the complete system around frequency manipulation.
The goal is not simply maximum volume—it is to move the exhaust note upward in frequency and create a sharper, more exotic sound as engine speed increases.
This is achieved through the combination of:
Full exhaust-system replacement
Optimized header geometry
Reverse megaphones
Dual 2.5-inch exhaust paths
Carefully controlled tube lengths
A merge into a single 3-inch flow path
Purpose-built single rear outlet
As the GT3's naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine approaches redline, the system develops an increasingly aggressive and motorsport-inspired tone.
REVERSE MEGAPHONES:
After the headers, exhaust gases enter specially engineered reverse megaphone sections.
Megaphone geometry has long been used in motorsport exhaust systems to manipulate exhaust-wave behavior and acoustic characteristics.
SOUL uses reverse megaphones as part of the High Pitch system's overall acoustic strategy, helping shift the exhaust tone toward the sharper frequency range that distinguishes this exhaust from its other GT3 systems.
DUAL 2.5-INCH TO SINGLE 3-INCH FLOW PATH:
After leaving the headers, the two cylinder banks travel through separate:
2.5-inch exhaust paths
These merge into a single:
3-inch exhaust path
The length of this transition is carefully calculated to tune exhaust frequency while maintaining efficient gas velocity and flow.
This architecture is a major reason the High Pitch Exhaust sounds fundamentally different from SOUL's conventional Performance, Valved, and Race Exhaust configurations.
FACTORY CONNECTION ELIMINATION:
The High Pitch system eliminates the factory GT3's extremely large 7 5/8-inch connection point at the rear muffler assembly.
SOUL also revised the header flange and connection architecture to eliminate the older Porsche-style connection requiring OEM clamps and donut gaskets.
The system instead uses a more efficient V-band connection, providing:
Cleaner assembly
Improved exhaust-flow transition
Easier servicing
Precise component alignment
A more purpose-built complete-system architecture
SINGLE 3D-PRINTED OUTLET:
Unlike SOUL's other 992 GT3 exhaust systems, the High Pitch Exhaust does not terminate in conventional interchangeable dual exhaust tips.
Instead, the exhaust exits through a dedicated single 3D-metal-printed outlet.
The outlet is digitally engineered to:
Integrate cleanly into the GT3 bumper surround
Provide a motorsport-inspired appearance
Maintain the system's single 3-inch exhaust architecture
Minimize heat transfer into nearby bodywork
Because the outlet is an integral component of the High Pitch Exhaust, there are no separate tip style or finish options for this system.
VALVE DELETE MODULES:
The High Pitch Exhaust removes the Porsche factory rear muffler and exhaust valves entirely.
Simply disconnecting the factory electronic valves can create diagnostic faults.
SOUL therefore includes dedicated Valve Delete Modules.
These modules electronically mirror the expected factory valve signals, allowing the ECU to recognize the valve system as operating normally even though the physical valves have been removed.
This allows the High Pitch Exhaust to operate as a permanently unrestricted non-valved system without creating valve-specific check engine lights.
NON-VALVED DESIGN:
The High Pitch Exhaust has:
No factory rear muffler
No electronic exhaust valves
No quiet exhaust path
No selectable tip configuration
The system operates through its dedicated high-pitch performance path at all times.
Customers seeking factory-style control over exhaust volume should consider SOUL's Valved Exhaust System instead.
SOUND CHARACTER:
Expect:
Dramatically increased naturally aspirated flat-six sound
Sharper exhaust tone
Increasingly exotic character as RPM rises
Much stronger high-RPM intensity
More motorsport-oriented exhaust frequencies
Greater mechanical engine presence
Immediate response to throttle input
Distinctive single-outlet sound character
No factory valve intervention
No quiet mode
The High Pitch system is specifically intended for customers seeking a more exotic, race-derived sound rather than simply a louder version of the factory exhaust.
WEIGHT SAVINGS:
Comparable Factory Exhaust Components:
Approximately 68.2 lbs / 30.9 kg
SOUL High Pitch Exhaust System:
Approximately 35.9 lbs / 16.3 kg
Weight Savings:
Approximately 32.3 lbs / 14.6 kg
That represents approximately a 47% reduction in exhaust-system weight compared with the factory components being replaced.

EUROPEAN-SPEC VEHICLES:
SOUL specifies that the High Pitch Exhaust also fits European-specification vehicles.
However, European vehicles must be paired with an appropriate:
OBD solution
or
ECU calibration
to eliminate resulting emissions-related check engine lights.
This requirement is separate from the included Valve Delete Modules, which address the removal of the factory exhaust valves.
EMISSIONS / COMPETITION USE NOTE:
The SOUL High Pitch Exhaust removes the factory catalytic-converter and particulate-filter assemblies.
This product is not CARB certified and SOUL specifies it for closed-course competition use only.
Removal of factory emissions-control equipment may violate regulations governing vehicles operated on public roads.
Customers are responsible for determining compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international regulations before installation or use.
Product Description
The SOUL Competition Headers are designed for 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3 and GT3 Touring owners looking to maximize exhaust flow, throttle response, sound, and naturally aspirated performance while retaining the factory rear exhaust system.
The factory GT3 header assemblies package the catalytic converters and particulate-filter hardware close to the engine, forcing compromises in primary-runner length, runner diameter, collector efficiency, and overall exhaust flow. LONG-TUBE HEADER DESIGN:
Even Porsche's GT3 exhaust system must balance performance against emissions, manufacturing, packaging, sound, and regulatory requirements.
The factory header assembly houses dense catalytic-converter and particulate-filter hardware close to the engine. This limits how freely the exhaust manifold can be optimized strictly around:
Primary-runner length
Runner diameter
Collector efficiency
Exhaust-gas velocity
High-RPM flow
SOUL's Competition Headers remove those packaging compromises and replace the factory assemblies with a dedicated performance header.
CNC-MACHINED MERGE COLLECTOR:
SOUL designs the Competition Headers around a billet CNC-machined merge collector rather than relying on a basic convergence of fabricated primary tubes.
The merge collector helps smoothly combine the individual exhaust pulses while maintaining gas velocity as they enter the downstream exhaust.
On the GT3's naturally aspirated engine, this architecture is particularly important because header geometry directly influences exhaust scavenging, throttle response, midrange behavior, and high-RPM breathing.
FACTORY REAR EXHAUST COMPATIBILITY:
The Competition Headers are specifically designed as a direct replacement for the factory headers while retaining the stock rear exhaust system. SOUL Performance Products
This allows owners to retain:
Factory rear muffler
Factory electronic exhaust valves
Factory exhaust tips
Porsche's original rear-exhaust packaging
while substantially reducing restriction farther upstream.
SOUND CHARACTER:
Removing the factory catalyst and particulate-filter assemblies produces a significant increase in the amount of naturally aspirated flat-six character reaching the rear exhaust.
Expect:
Greater mechanical engine sound
Stronger flat-six exhaust presence
Increased sound throughout the rev range
Sharper throttle-related sound
More aggressive high-RPM character
Greater difference as the factory rear exhaust valves open
Significant amplification of whichever rear exhaust system is installed downstream
With the stock rear muffler retained, the final result remains more controlled than a complete SOUL Race Exhaust.
THROTTLE RESPONSE & PERFORMANCE:
SOUL developed the Competition Headers to improve flow, response, tone, and power potential from the 992 GT3's 4.0-liter engine. SOUL Performance Products
Reducing the restriction created by the original catalyst and particulate-filter assemblies gives exhaust gases a freer path away from the cylinders and allows the engine to breathe more efficiently at high RPM.
SOUL does not currently publish a standalone horsepower or torque figure for this header set, so specific power gains should not be assumed.
COMPETITION HEADERS VS. STREET HEADERS:
Competition Headers
Completely catless
Remove factory particulate-filter assemblies
Maximum available header flow
Maximum header-induced sound increase
Competition-focused configuration
$4,795.00
Street Headers
Retain performance catalytic converters
More street-oriented configuration
Improved exhaust flow compared with factory
Retain a catted configuration
$5,695.00
Both systems can be used while retaining the factory rear exhaust.
COMPETITION HEADERS VS. COMPLETE RACE EXHAUST:
Competition Headers
Standalone header replacement
Factory rear exhaust retained
Factory exhaust valves retained
Catless
Single fixed configuration
Race Exhaust System
Complete exhaust replacement
Dedicated long-tube headers
Dedicated downstream exhaust architecture
Available catted or catless
Non-valved rear exhaust
Multiple exhaust-tip configurations
The Competition Headers are the appropriate choice for customers who want maximum header flow while keeping the Porsche rear exhaust system.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT / ECU CALIBRATION:
The Competition Headers remove the factory catalytic converters and particulate-filter hardware.
SOUL's current 992.2 Competition Header page does not publish a definitive no-CEL claim or specify a universal ECU-calibration requirement.
Because factory emissions components are removed, emissions-related diagnostic behavior can depend on vehicle specification and calibration.
Customers should confirm the appropriate calibration strategy for their intended vehicle and use before installation.
EMISSIONS / COMPETITION USE NOTE:
The SOUL Competition Headers remove factory catalytic converters and particulate-filter hardware.
These components are not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles operated on public roads.
Customers are responsible for determining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations before installation or use.
Product Description
The SOUL Street Headers are designed for 2025+ Porsche 992.2 GT3 and GT3 Touring owners looking to improve exhaust flow, throttle response, power potential, and flat-six sound while retaining a catted exhaust configuration.
Even on Porsche's motorsport-derived 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, the factory header assemblies must accommodate catalytic converters, particulate-filter hardware, packaging requirements, noise regulations, and emissions targets. These requirements limit primary-runner geometry, collector efficiency, and overall exhaust flow.
SOUL replaces the restrictive factory header assemblies with a performance-oriented design built around large-diameter, free-flowing catalytic converters, optimized runners, and precision-machined billet 304L stainless steel head flanges.
The result is a freer path from the cylinder heads into the downstream exhaust, improving engine response while allowing substantially more of the GT3's naturally aspirated character to reach the rear exhaust system.

WHY UPGRADE THE FACTORY HEADERS?
The 992.2 GT3's factory exhaust must satisfy requirements extending far beyond outright performance.
The original header assembly incorporates emissions hardware close to the engine, including catalytic-converter and particulate-filter sections. Packaging those components within the exhaust restricts how freely Porsche can optimize:
Primary-runner length
Runner geometry
Exhaust flow
Collector efficiency
Sound
Overall performance
SOUL's Street Headers remove those packaging compromises and replace the factory assemblies with a performance-focused catted header system.
LARGE-DIAMETER HIGH-FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTERS:
Unlike SOUL Competition Headers, the Street Headers retain catalytic converters.
SOUL builds the system around large-diameter, free-flowing performance catalysts designed to reduce exhaust restriction compared with the factory header assemblies while maintaining a catted configuration.
This provides a middle ground between the original Porsche exhaust and SOUL's completely catless Competition Headers.
BILLET 304L CNC HEAD FLANGES:
SOUL uses billet 304L stainless steel head flanges precision machined on a 5-axis CNC machine.
The flange design creates a more controlled transition from the cylinder-head exhaust ports into the header runners while increasing strength in one of the exhaust system's most highly stressed areas.
Repeated track use subjects the headers to extreme heat cycles and vibration. The billet construction is designed to reduce the likelihood of cracking while maintaining accurate sealing and runner alignment.
EXHAUST FLOW & THROTTLE RESPONSE:
The Street Headers are engineered to reduce restriction between the engine and downstream exhaust system.
Improved runner geometry and freer-flowing catalysts allow exhaust gases to leave the cylinders more efficiently.
SOUL specifically targets improvements in:
Exhaust flow
Throttle response
Power potential
Naturally aspirated engine character
High-RPM breathing
The effect is particularly relevant on the GT3's high-revving 4.0-liter engine, where exhaust-system efficiency and scavenging play an important role in engine response.
SOUND CHARACTER:
Replacing the restrictive factory header assemblies allows significantly more of the GT3's natural flat-six sound to reach the rear exhaust.
Expect:
Greater naturally aspirated flat-six presence
Increased mechanical engine character
Stronger exhaust tone under load
Greater high-RPM intensity
Sharper response to throttle inputs
Amplification of the sound characteristics of the rear exhaust installed downstream
The exact final sound depends heavily on the rear exhaust.
With the factory rear muffler retained, the vehicle remains more restrained than one equipped with a SOUL Performance, Valved, or Race rear exhaust.
WITH FACTORY REAR EXHAUST:
The Street Headers can be installed while retaining the original Porsche rear exhaust.
This provides:
Improved upstream exhaust flow
Increased engine character
Greater exhaust sound
Improved throttle response
Retention of the factory rear muffler
Retention of the factory rear exhaust-valve functionality
This makes the Street Headers suitable as a standalone first-stage performance upgrade.
WITH SOUL REAR EXHAUST:
The Street Headers can also be paired with compatible SOUL 992.2 GT3 rear exhaust systems.
Combining freer-flowing headers with a less restrictive rear exhaust further increases:
Overall exhaust sound
High-RPM character
Exhaust-flow capability
Mechanical engine feedback
Performance potential
The final system configuration can therefore be tailored around the customer's desired balance between refinement and sound.
STREET HEADERS VS. COMPETITION HEADERS:
Street Headers
Retain performance catalytic converters
More street-oriented configuration
Reduced restriction compared with factory
Increased flat-six sound
Improved throttle response
$5,695.00
Competition Headers
Catless
Maximum available header flow
More aggressive sound
More competition-focused configuration
Lower purchase price
The Street Headers are the appropriate option for customers who want upgraded header geometry and flow while retaining catalytic converters.
992.1 / 992.2 COMPATIBILITY:
SOUL uses the same manufacturer part number for its 992.1 and 992.2 GT3 Street Headers.
The 992.2 receives its own dedicated product listing, but the underlying SOUL part remains the same.
EMISSIONS NOTE:
The SOUL Street Headers retain aftermarket performance catalytic converters but replace the original Porsche header and emissions assemblies.
They are not CARB certified.
Retaining catalytic converters does not necessarily make an aftermarket header legal for road use in every jurisdiction.
Customers are responsible for determining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations before installation or use.
