Product Description
The turbocharged Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman offer impressive performance, but the factory exhaust and extensive sound insulation leave much of the flat-four engine's character hidden from the driver. The SOUL Performance Exhaust replaces the restrictive factory rear exhaust with a lightweight, free-flowing system designed to deliver substantially more sound, turbo character, and engagement on both the street and track.
Unlike a conventional muffled exhaust system, the SOUL Performance Exhaust uses no mufflers or resonators. Exhaust gases flow through 2.5-inch over-axle piping and into a central crossover section, creating a deeper, more aggressive boxer-engine tone with increased turbo noise, bark, and rumble. With an upgraded downpipe, the system becomes considerably more aggressive, with additional crackles and exhaust presence.
SOUL engineered the system for durability as well as sound. Flexible sections in the over-axle piping help isolate engine movement and vibration, while dedicated mounting brackets are used for Manual and PDK cars to improve fitment and reduce unwanted NVH. The complete assembly is constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with thick cast flanges and is designed for sustained street and track use.

This Performance Exhaust replaces the factory valved PSE rear exhaust with a fixed, free-flowing exhaust system. Vehicles originally equipped with PSE will no longer have exhaust-valve control after installation. For customers who want to retain selectable quiet/loud exhaust operation, consider the SOUL Valved Exhaust System instead.
