SOUL Performance Products Competition Headers are a fully catless header solution developed to maximize exhaust flow, sound, power, and response from the GT3-derived 4.0-liter flat-six in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS.
Rather than compromise runner length and collector design to package catalytic converters within the replacement headers, SOUL utilizes the available space for longer primary tubing and an enlarged merge collector. The outlet transitions into the full 3-inch flow path used by the GT4 RS / Spyder RS over-axle exhaust system.
Removing the factory catalytic converters significantly reduces restriction at the front of the exhaust system and allows considerably more of the engine's natural exhaust character to come through. The Competition Headers can be paired with the factory over-axle pipes or used as the foundation of a more comprehensive SOUL exhaust system.
The complete SOUL header assembly weighs approximately 17.75 lbs compared with approximately 22.2 lbs for the factory headers, reducing weight by approximately 4.5 lbs while providing a freer-flowing exhaust path.
These headers are catless and will trigger a check engine light when installed without appropriate ECU calibration.
