Product Description
SOUL Performance Products Resonated Over Axle Pipes deliver a substantial increase in exhaust sound and flow for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS while offering a smoother, more refined tone than the more aggressive Competition Over Axle Pipes.
The factory over-axle assemblies contain secondary catalytic elements and particulate-filter chambers that are empty on North American-market vehicles. SOUL replaces these restrictive assemblies with a freer-flowing design that maintains a full 3-inch exhaust path from flange to flange.
Packaging around the rear suspension and bodywork is extremely tight on the 718 RS platform. Rather than reducing tubing diameter through these areas, SOUL uses specially formed oval tubing to preserve exhaust flow while maintaining the necessary chassis clearance.
Integrated resonators differentiate this system from SOUL's Competition Over Axle Pipes. They reduce overall volume slightly and smooth out some of the more aggressive frequencies, making the Resonated OAPs an excellent option for owners looking for a substantial sound increase without going all the way to the more aggressive Competition configuration.
The SOUL Resonated Over Axle Pipes weigh approximately 16.75 lbs compared with approximately 25 lbs for the factory assemblies, reducing rear-mounted weight by approximately 8.25 lbs.

The GT3-derived 4.0-liter engine in the GT4 RS and Spyder RS generates considerable exhaust heat, particularly within the tightly packaged over-axle area.
Although SOUL's streamlined Resonated Over Axle Pipe design removes much of the mass and associated heat soak of the factory assemblies, SOUL strongly recommends a thermal-management solution to help protect nearby components and bodywork.
The Resonated Over Axle Pipes are available either without a heat solution or with SOUL's optional heat solution.
