The SOUL Valved Exhaust System is designed for Porsche 981 Cayman GT4, Boxster Spyder, and GT4 Clubsport owners who want to amplify the character of the 3.8L naturally aspirated flat-six without sacrificing street usability. The system combines a refined muffled exhaust path with a freer-flowing 2.5-inch path, allowing the driver to transition between comfortable cruising and a significantly more aggressive exhaust experience.
With the valves closed, exhaust gases are routed through SOUL's packed mufflers to produce a refined, sporty exhaust note while minimizing unwanted cabin drone. SOUL specifically developed the system to remain comfortable at highway speeds with the factory headers or high-flow catted headers, making it well suited for cars that see regular street use.
With the valves open, exhaust gases are allowed to flow through large 2.5-inch piping, substantially increasing volume and allowing the 3.8L flat-six to deliver a more aggressive, high-RPM exhaust note. Perforations within the exhaust path keep the mufflers acoustically connected to the system, helping create a fuller and more robust tone rather than simply increasing overall volume.
SOUL also engineered the system with owners of catless headers in mind. Although overall exhaust volume increases considerably when paired with a catless header system, minimizing objectionable drone remained a primary design goal.

Depending on the controller configuration, valve operation can be controlled through dedicated remotes and compatible HomeLink buttons.
