The SOUL Valved Exhaust System is designed for Porsche 987.1 Boxster and Cayman owners who want a true change in character at the press of a button. This helps keep the car comfortable during highway cruising and normal street driving, especially when paired with factory headers.

With the valves open, exhaust gases are allowed to exit through large 2.5-inch piping, substantially increasing volume and exhaust character. Perforations within the system keep the mufflers acoustically connected to the exhaust path, helping produce a fuller and more robust tone rather than simply making the car louder.

The SOUL Valved Exhaust also provides a meaningful reduction in weight. The complete system weighs approximately 30 lbs, compared with approximately 35 lbs for the factory exhaust components, saving approximately 5 lbs / 2.2 kg.

VALVE OPERATION:

The SOUL Valved Exhaust includes a valve controller kit.

For vehicles without factory Porsche Sport Exhaust, the controller is required to operate the exhaust valves.

For vehicles equipped with factory PSE, the SOUL exhaust can retain factory exhaust-valve operation. The included controller can also be used to provide direct manual valve override rather than relying solely on Porsche's factory valve strategy.

This allows owners to retain quiet operation when desired while having immediate access to the more aggressive valves-open exhaust mode.

SOUND CHARACTER:

With the valves closed and factory headers installed, SOUL designed the system to provide a refined, sporty exhaust note with minimal highway drone.

Opening the valves substantially changes the character of the system, allowing exhaust gases to flow more freely through the large 2.5-inch path and producing a much more aggressive flat-six exhaust note.
