The SOUL Cat Bypass Pipes are designed for Porsche 992.1 Turbo-platform owners looking for maximum exhaust flow, substantially increased turbocharger sound, sharper throttle response, and a significantly more aggressive flat-six exhaust character.

The factory catalytic-converter assemblies are replaced with unrestricted stainless steel bypass pipes, eliminating one of the most significant exhaust restrictions immediately downstream of the turbochargers. The freer exhaust path allows considerably more turbocharger spool, whistle, engine note, and exhaust crackle to reach the driver while improving turbo response and drivability.

SOUL constructs each Cat Bypass Pipe from mandrel-bent 2.5-inch-diameter, .065-inch-wall T304L stainless steel tubing with CNC-cut flanges, laser-cut brackets, retained factory-style mounting points, and accurately positioned oxygen-sensor locations.

For performance-focused 992.1 Turbo builds, the Cat Bypass Pipes provide SOUL's least restrictive catalyst-section configuration.

CATLESS DESIGN:

The factory catalytic converters create substantial restriction immediately downstream of the 992 Turbo's turbochargers.

SOUL replaces these assemblies with unrestricted stainless steel bypass pipes, completely eliminating the catalyst cores and providing a much freer path for exhaust gases leaving the turbine housings.

Reducing post-turbine restriction helps the turbochargers move exhaust gases more efficiently and allows substantially more of their natural spool and whistle to pass through the exhaust system.

The result is a more responsive and engaging turbocharged Porsche with significantly greater engine and turbo character.

SOUND CHARACTER:

Removing the factory catalytic converters produces one of the most dramatic sound changes available for the 992.1 Turbo platform.

Expect:

SOUL recommends an appropriate custom ECU calibration for track-use vehicles when catalyst-monitoring functions need to be addressed.

Customers should assume that catalyst-related fault codes are possible when installing this product.

PSE COMPATIBILITY:

This configuration is intended for vehicles equipped with the compatible Porsche Sport Exhaust / PSE exhaust architecture.

The Cat Bypass Pipes replace the upstream catalytic-converter assemblies and do not remove the downstream PSE muffler or valve system.

Factory exhaust-valve functionality is therefore retained after installation.

SPORT CLASSIC / DAKAR COMPATIBILITY:

SOUL specifically lists the US-model 992 Sport Classic and Dakar as compatible applications for these Cat Bypass Pipes.

These models share compatible turbocharged 992 exhaust architecture with the PSE-equipped Turbo application and do not require separate Cat Bypass Pipe variants.
